Map import columns

For each column in your import spreadsheet, we need to know what field should be updated in BigCommerce.

Choosing a field

Choose the appropriate field type for each column of your spreads.

Auto-detecting

We'll do our best to auto-detect based on the column name, so we recommend using the naming conventions used by an export to make this easier.

Column groups

We group related columns together to make them easier to manage. Check each group of columns by choosing from the buttons/pill tabs above the list of fields.

Skip Columns

You might have columns in your spreadsheet that you don't want to import. For these columns, choose "Mark as skipped" within the further actions dropdown.

Apply Transformations

Apply custom transformations to each column so that you can pre-process data automatically without needing to make changes to your import file each time.

This is helpful when you have a pre-existing file, e.g. export from another system like an ERP, and you wish to be able to import each time without making further changes.
