Data Residency & Security

We appreciate that the Back in Stock app is responsible for managing customer information and so we regularly review our data security policies to ensure that adequate protection and processes are in place.

Residency

The application and its data are both hosted on Heroku in Ireland. 

Emails sent using the default delivery method are sent using SendGrid. While SendGrid is based in the US and does not have European servers, they protect personal data in accordance with EU legal requirements. 

Security

We have a company-wide data security policy that covers a wide range of security controls that governs how we maintain physical, network, software & data security.  For full details of our security policies, please get in touch.

The data for all of our apps, including Back in Stock Alerts, is encrypted at rest. Access to the application hosting is protected by two-factor authentication.
